SFURTI — Cluster Development for Traditional Industries
About This Scheme
Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI) organizes traditional artisans and producers into clusters to make them competitive and provide sustained employment. Covers khadi, village industries, coir, bamboo, honey, handloom, and handicraft clusters with financial support of ₹2.5 to ₹5 crore per cluster.

Eligibility
Groups of traditional industry artisans/producers (minimum 500 for regular clusters, 1000 for major clusters); NGOs, state government agencies, or institutions can be implementing agencies; covers khadi, village industries, coir, bamboo, honey, and similar traditional sectors.

Application Process
- 1Implementing agency (NGO/institution) identifies artisan cluster
- 2Submit Detailed Project Report to Nodal Agency (KVIC/Coir Board/NSIC)
- 3Technical Committee evaluates and approves the cluster project
- 4Funds released in stages based on project milestones
