About This Scheme

Udyam Registration is the official government registration for micro, small, and medium enterprises in India. It is free, entirely online, Aadhaar-based, and mandatory for availing benefits under various MSME schemes. Udyam-registered enterprises get priority sector lending from banks, reduced interest rates, protection against delayed payments through the Samadhaan portal, ISO certification fee reimbursement, and eligibility for all MSME subsidies including CGTMSE collateral-free loans. Registration takes around 10 minutes to complete online and generates a permanent Udyam Registration Number linked to your PAN. Almost every substantial government scheme for MSMEs now requires Udyam registration as a prerequisite.

Eligibility

Any enterprise engaged in manufacturing or services with investment and turnover within MSME limits: Micro (investment up to ₹1 crore, turnover up to ₹5 crore), Small (investment up to ₹10 crore, turnover up to ₹50 crore), Medium (investment up to ₹50 crore, turnover up to ₹250 crore).
