About This Scheme
PMFME is a centrally sponsored scheme under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries providing financial, technical, and business support to micro food processing enterprises. It offers credit-linked capital subsidy of 35% of project cost (max ₹10 lakh) for upgradation, along with support for branding, packaging, and FSSAI compliance.

Eligibility
Existing micro food processing units, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), Self Help Groups (SHGs), and cooperatives. Individual entrepreneurs planning to set up new micro food processing units. One District One Product (ODOP) approach is given priority.

Application Process
- 1Visit pmfme.mofpi.gov.in and register
